OSB-RC1.8 Current Float System for River Channel

Aiming firstly at flow measurement of river channel, the floating buoy shall be used in river environment with fast velocity of flowing and reversing current, thus it is designed for adapting to such requirements and adopting the following measures:

With spherical form, the tail tube and balancing weight are installed within lower part of the buoy, which can be with minimum swing in wind and waves;

The bridle chain is adopted for anchor, which can make the floating buoy keep upright state in strong current; in addition, the double anchor structure can make it with minimum moving in reversing current.

The ADCP type ocean current meter is fixed in tail tube, which can protect the safety of floating buoy and avoid the disturbance of river rubbish.

The material of floating buoy is 304 stainless steel, which can not only avoid rust and reduce maintenance working, but also make the floating buoy adapt conveniently to brackish water area of river mouth;

In order to eliminate the damage of sailing vessels by collision, a thick anti-collision rubber is arranged on the buoy body.

In order to avoid the ferromagnetic effect, the cement balancing weight is adopted;

The above features of design can basically ensure the flow measurement result of floating buoy in various river channels.

Other main design features:

As an additional energy source, the capability of solar charger adopted in the buoy is two times of power consumption;

The solar battery can supply the electrical service for one month in the condition of overcast and rainy weather.

The GPRS module with high speed and capacity (cache 8K) is adopted as its communication system and can remove the major change of data quantity difference when using different working modes of ocean current meter;

Adopting the PIC singlechip as data acquisition and control center, the power consumption of floating buoy can be reduced;

Besides the data of ocean current, the floating buoy can also supply other safety parameters: battery voltage, whether the cabin cover is opened, whether the riding light is lit and any water is within the hatch; at the same time, it can receive the displayed latitude and longitude of floating buoy in real-time and displacement condition of floating buoy from the original position;

The ocean current meter is fixed by special bracket for accessing conveniently the hatch of floating buoy when working.

The returned data of current stratification can be displayed as graphic form and so on.

The advanced design of OSB-RC1.8 type current float for river channel is indubitable, it is well calculated with careful consideration integrating with existing design concept and wisdom, combining with environmental quality of river channel and application features of ADCP ocean current meter, thus it has its original status in like products at home and abroad.
